King College London
King's faculty London (informally King's or KCL; at one time titled King's faculty, London) may be a public analysis university settled in London, uk, and a constituent faculty of the federal University of London. King's was supported in 1829 by King King of Great Britain and therefore the Duke of Wellington and received its charter within the same year.[6][7] On this basis, King's claims to be the fourth oldest university in England,[8] though student teams have additionally claimed that it's the third-oldest university.[9][10] King's became one amongst the 2 initiation faculties of the University of London in 1836.[11][12][13] within the late twentieth century it grew through a series of mergers, together with with Queen Elizabeth faculty and Chelsea faculty of Science and Technology (in 1985), the Institute of psychological medicine (in 1997), and therefore the United Medical and Dental colleges of Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals and Florence Nightingale college of Nursing and Midwifery (in 1998).
